How we make money
Bulldog Broadband is free for you to use. We think you should know exactly how we're paid.
Who pays us
When you ask for a deal, we pass your request to the provider you chose (or its authorised sales partner). They may pay us a fee for the introduction, or a commission if you go on to take the service. Some optional extras, such as mesh WiFi or an installation visit, also earn us a fee.
Does it change the price you pay?
No. The price you see is the provider's price for your postcode. Any fee is paid by the provider and is never added to your bill.
How we choose what to recommend
Cooper's recommendation is worked out from your answers: your home, your devices, how you use the internet, what matters most to you and what can reach your address. What we're paid is not part of that calculation. You'll always see every deal we have for your postcode, sorted by price or speed.
Our partner fees are public
Providers that join our partner programme pay a published fee: £20 for an introduction where the provider completes the sale, or £40 where we complete the sale for them. Every partner pays the same published rates, so no provider can buy a better position in Cooper's recommendation.
What happens to your details
We only pass your details to a provider when you ask us to and tick the box agreeing to it. That provider will contact you to confirm your address, speed and price before anything is ordered. You can read exactly what we collect and why in our privacy policy.
What we don't cover
We don't list every provider in the UK, so there may be deals we don't show. We add providers as we partner with them. If none of our partners covers your address yet, you can still ask Cooper to find you a match.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay more by ordering through Bulldog Broadband?
No. You pay the provider's own price for your address. Any fee we receive is paid by the provider and never added to your bill.
Do providers pay to be recommended?
No. Cooper's pick comes from rules based on your answers and what reaches your address. Fees are not an input to those rules, and no provider can pay to be placed first.
Will you share my details?
Only with your permission. When you ask for a deal or a callback, you choose whether we can pass your details to a provider that serves your address. Marketing is a separate, optional choice.
Why do you not show every provider?
We only list providers and partners we work with directly, so we can be sure prices and availability are right. We are adding more all the time.
