About Bulldog Broadband
Most people pick broadband on the headline price and end up on the wrong package, or stay on an out-of-contract deal paying far more than they need to. We started Bulldog Broadband to fix that.
Meet Cooper
Cooper is our bulldog. Like all bulldogs he is stubborn, loyal and refuses to let go - in his case, of a better deal for you. He checks which networks reach your address, compares the packages that suit how you use the internet, and keeps the jargon out of it.
What we do

How Cooper picks the right service
Comparison sites usually sort by price. Cooper doesn't. A cheap package that can't cope with your home at 8pm isn't a bargain, and a gigabit package for one person who browses and streams is money wasted. So Cooper works it out from your answers:
- Your peak demand. How many people live with you, how many 4K TVs, gamers, home workers and video calls might be running at once, and how many smart devices sit in the background.
- Headroom. WiFi never delivers the full line speed to every room, so Cooper adds a margin depending on whether you care most about price, value or speed.
- Uploads. Home workers, creators and businesses often need fast uploads, so Cooper checks upload speed separately and prefers symmetrical full fibre when you need it.
- Your address. Only packages that can actually reach your property are considered.
- One clear pick. The smallest package that meets every need wins, with the reasons explained in plain English. You can still see every other option.

Bulldog Broadband is run by Chris Davies, who writes our broadband guides. We work with full fibre networks and providers, including independent altnets that the big comparison sites often miss, to reach homes that have been stuck on slow copper lines for years.

How does Cooper choose a package?
Cooper adds up how much speed your home needs at its busiest time from your answers (people, streaming, gaming, home working, devices), adds headroom for WiFi losses, then picks the smallest package at your address that meets both the download and upload need. Price only decides between packages that pass every rule.
Is Bulldog Broadband a broadband provider?
No. We are an independent matching service. Your contract is with the provider you choose, who confirms availability and price before anything is ordered.
What if no provider you work with covers my address?
You can still finish the questions and ask Cooper to find you a match. We pass your request, with your permission, to a provider or partner that can serve your address.
